Inspired Candles was created to deliver a range of high quality, hand poured artisan candles and diffusers that are equally beautiful and functional.
Our mission is to inspire people through fragrance.
The Royal Gift
To showcase Australia, Inspired Candles were chosen to provide a gift of candles to the Royal Couple, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, for their visit to South Australia on April 23rd 2014.
Princess Kate and Prince William will continue to be inspired by their South Australian visit when back home at Kensington Palace, as they light their beautifully scented candles from a small Aussie business - Inspired Candles.
The candles provided were 'Lemony' now Lemongrass, 'Iced Biscotti' and 'Lotus Blossom' in honour of the Duchess celebrating her first Mother's Day.
Our Story
Established in 2009, we now operate from a new, purpose-built warehouse located on the NSW Central Coast. We work with a great team of family and friends to ensure quality products and friendly service.
All our products are handmade here in Australia and we source all our ingredients from local suppliers wherever possible.
We are passionate about our beautiful country, the family and friends that surround us and the amazing lifestyle that being Australian gives us and we want to share our journey with the amazing people that support us.

Why Use Soy Wax?
Soy candles are made from soybeans, they are a natural renewable product grown in many regions by local farmers. This makes it a more environmentally friendly product.
Interestingly, Soy wax burns slower, making it a longer lasting candle which burns at a lower temperature, making it safer to burn. Soy candle wax burns cleaner with little soot released as the candle burns. Soy candles may accumulate some black soot on the jar, but the amount is much less than paraffin candles. Soy candles are also non-toxic, so they won't release toxins into the air as they burn.

Some people question why candles can be expensive? To the other chandlers out there, you all know…it’s hundreds of hours of learning, experimenting and failing. As a buyer, you are purchasing months of frustration, defeat, tears and moments of pure joy.
We say they’re hand made, but really, they come from the heart and you’re buying not just a candle. You’re buying a piece of our hearts for your home.
A Quality Approach
At Inspired Candles our products undertake hours of testing and quality control. This ensures the candles you purchase always look stunning and are perfectly scented.
We individually test all elements of the candles including jars, wicks, wax and scents to provide a premium hand poured soy candle.
We ensure we reach all our quality control criteria which include a strict and consistent commitment to achieve uniformity and perfection of all our products.
Often soy wax candles may not have as strong of a scent throw. We use premium fragrance and natural soy wax to make our candles. Most candles that are seen as "standard" use more toxic types of wax and some even add chemical stabilisers to maintain a "stronger" scent throw.
